Lunch

Lunch time can be difficult.

You want to pack them something good.

You want to pack them something nutritious.

You also want to pack something they will eat and not make them wind up buying a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

So here is a collection of what I pack for my kids.

90% of the time the tins come home empty, and if they don’t well they eat it the rest before they can have a snack. We don’t waste food/money in my house .

What are some helpful tips:

Keep it simple

I also like to follow a basic formula, 1 protein, 2 veggies, 1 fat/fun.

I also don’t make them eat this way ALL the time. I let them order the lunch when the school serves something they can (allergen friendly) and want to eat. For them it’s usually it tacos or nachos. All of the components I provide are free of toxins. Meaning its organic, non-GMO, GF, and mostly dairy free. That is one thing I do not compromise on. If I’m giving it to them it will be nourishing, not harmful.
